My Nigerian Background Means A Lot To Me, I'm Going Back In Future - Joe Aribo

Nigeria's Super Eagles and Southampton midfielder Joseph Temitope Aribo has underlined how important his Nigerian background is to him, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 28-year-old skilful midfielder was born in Camberwell to Nigerian parents but decided to choose Nigeria ahead of the Three Lions of England.

" My Nigerian heritage means a lot to me. I don't really speak about it much, but it means a lot to me, and I always ask my parents about where they grew up and where I am from.

" I went back there when I was young, but I can't remember it.

" I have planned to go back in future; I'm honoured to be part of the Super Eagles and represent my country", he said.
