N20M For Winners As Benue State Governor's Cup Kicks Off October 1st

The champions, runners up and Third place team at the maiden Benue State Governor's Cup will pocket Twenty million naira (N20m), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In his remarks at the Press Conference where the announcement was made, the Chairman, Benue State FA, Barrister Paul Edeh said all 23 Local Government Areas will participate in the tournament as the Nigeria Football Federation promised to donate the trophy for the champions.

The champions will receive the cash prize of Ten million naira (N10m) while second placed team gets Six million naira (N6m). The bronze winning team will get Four million naira (N4m).

The 2024 Governor's Cup will commence on 1st October with Zonal Conference where ten best teams qualify for the Super 10. Meanwhile, each Local Government Area will pay Five hundred thousand naira as registration fee.
