NAF FC Keep NPFL Hope Alive

The Nigerian Air Force Football Club, Director of Sports, Air Commodore M. Abanum has reiterated that the Abuja based team's target of picking the Nigeria Premier League ticket at the end of the 2023 Nigeria National League season remain their top priority.
In the same vein, the head coach, Yakubu Sambo said the team are prepared and focused on picking the ticket.
"We are more focused and prepared than ever. The management has done everything on their side in making sure that the dream comes true while the players on their part have tighten up their belts to pay back the management's good gesture." Sambo told BSN Sports
"And you can see the seriousness in our results. We started with three consecutive draws and won our last two games to be placed second on the log. He concluded.
Also speaking, the Director of Sports, Abanum while praising the efforts of the players stated that the determination and support from Chief of administration, AVM N.E Calmday is one of the major reasons the team is yet to lose a game since the league resumed.
"The players and coaching crew have done a great job. However, the contribution of Chief Administration, AVM N.E Calmday is one of the major factor responsible for the excellent performance of the players. And his determination in making sure that dream comes alive may end up getting NAF FC the NPFL ticket."
NAF FC who are unbeaten in five games this season with 9 points are placed second behind Katsina United and are determined to put in everything in achieving the dream this season.
NAF FC were held to a 1-1 draw in their NNL opener against Jigawa Golden Stars picked another draw (0-0) against Family Worship Centre FC. Table toppers, Katsina United on match-day 3 picked another draw before winning their last two matches. Green Beret were the first victim before beating City FC 2-0.
