NBBF: Delta Force Withdraws From The Atlantic Conference

Delta Force has opted out of the Nigeria Basketball League Atlantic Conference Final Eight championship, which tips off today in Akure, Ondo State, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the update from the team's camp, the team management could not raise the needed funds to prosecute the competition.

Other teams including Rivers Hoopers, Lagos Legends and Police Batons, Kwara Falcons, Ebun Comets, Hoops and Read, and Oluyole Warriors have arrived at the venue.

With Delta Force's withdrawal, seven teams are now left to fight for the two tickets to the National Final Four.

Two teams will also qualify from the Savannah Conference to the national finals, where the country’s representative at the Basketball Africa League will emerge.
