NBBF Final Four: We're Not Under Any Pressure, Says Customs Head Coach

Precious Oham

Head coach of Nigeria Customs Abdulrahman Mohammed has said his team is not under any pressure at the ongoing Nigeria Premier Basketball League Final Four in Port Harcourt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria Customs started their campaign in the Final Four with a 65-57 win over Hoops and Read on Thursday.

Speaking after the game, Mohammed described his team as the underdogs despite being number one in the Savannah Conference.

The Customs Head Coach noted that the hosts, Rivers Hoopers are the team under pressure probably because they are playing in front of their fans adding that they are at the Final Four to have fun.

He said: "This is the Final Four and there is no team that is a pushover. Even though we are the number one coming from that conference, I still think we are the underdogs.

"I think if there is one that is under pressure, it's probably the host team because they are playing in the presence of their crowd, they are playing at home. We are not under any pressure. We are just here to have fun."

Nigeria Customs will take on Gboko City Chiefs in their second game today while hoping to extend their unbeaten streak to 13 games.
