NBBF League: We Are Not Afraid Of Any Team – Oluyole Warriors Coach

As the second phase of the NBBF’s Atlantic Conference men’s basketball league commences this weekend in Akure, Ondo State, the Coach of the Oluyole Warriors Basketball Team Taiye Sobogun has said his team are not afraid of any team.
Coach Sobogun said this known during a live phone-in conversation with BCOS’ Boluwaji Ogunmola on the station's flagship sports program Saturday Breakfast Sports where he also touched on his team's preparation for the second stanza of the league.
Oluyole Warriors Coach says: "i believe in the capacity of my boys, we will take each game as it comes because we are not afraid of anybody even though we are the youngest team in the competition. I hope this mentality will make us qualify for the final twoâ€.
On his part, the Vice Chairman of the Oyo State Basketball Association, Damola Awosika said the strong grassroot program of the basketball put in place in the state has helped the Oluyole Warriors as some of the talents nurtured in the program are currently playing for the side.
Awosika also expressed his confidence in the ability of the team to do well in the second phase of the competition.
The Oluyole Warriors will be competing with Police Baton (Lagos State), Ebun Comets (Lagos State), Lagos Legends (Lagos State), Hoops & Read (Lagos State), Kwara Falcons (Kwara State) and Rivers Hoopers (Rivers State) for one of the two tickets for the national finals.
