NCF Set To Unveil New Head Coach, High Performance Manager

The Nigeria Cricket Federation is set to unveil Stephen Maziva Mangongo as the new Head Coach and High Performance Manager of the federation, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Mangongo, a vastly experienced cricket tactician, brings close to three decades of coaching expertise to Nigerian cricket. 

His appointment is expected to strengthen the development of the sport in the country through his wealth of international experience, strategic leadership, and proven ability in player development.

The Zimbabwean coach has built a strong reputation in cricket circles for his technical knowledge and leadership qualities, having worked across different levels of the game during his coaching career.

The unveiling ceremony is scheduled to take place at the TBD Cricket Oval on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

The federation is optimistic that Mangongo’s arrival will further boost the growth and competitiveness of Nigerian cricket on the continental and global stage.
