The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Appeals Committee has exonerated ACT Sports di Oyibo of Lagos from all allegations of match manipulation, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The club was alleged to have fixed its season final game against Seamoriow Football Academy after losing 9-2.

Following its sitting on July 2, 2025, the NFF Disciplinary Committee dismissed the allegations as unsubstantiated. In its report, the committee noted that: "In the absence of sufficient evidence to demonstrate that the match between Franceex United FC and Bison FC was fixed, and considering that both teams were denied a fair hearing, the NLO's decision to cancel the results of the two matches is hereby set aside."

Pastor Samuel R.Oyibo, President of ACT Sports Di Oyibo FC Academy said after the ruling, "May the good Lord be praised. " It was a tough one for the club after being alleged to have taken part in such an act. As a Pastor, I had the conviction that we'll get over it, as I serve a living God.

"Match manipulation in whatever form is not in our DNA, as we are a professional grassroot football team with a core mandate of developing talents and providing the best career path platforms."
