NFF Extends Nasarawa State Normalization Committee Tenure

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has approved tenure elongation of the Normalization Committee of the Nasarawa State Football Association, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
This is contained in a letter sighted by our correspondent dated 4th October, 2023 and signed by Ali Abubakar Muhammed on behalf of the Secretary General of the federation, Sanusi Muhammed, which reads: "I heartily present to you a very warm sporting regard of the Executive Board Members, Management and Staff of the Nigeria Football Federation
Sequel to your letter dated 28th September, 2023 requesting for tenure elongation and in view of prevailing situation surrounding the conduct of Local Council elections in your state. I hereby convey to you the approval of the federation for the extension of tenure of your committee by one month
"It's our firm believe that your committee will make use of this opportunity to conduct hitch free Local Council elections as well as the State FA election to usher in new FA Executive Board."
The NFF in June set up the Normalization Committee in the state with the primary objective of restoring stability, promote transparency, and ensure the smooth running of football affairs within the Nasarawa State Football Association. They are saddled with the responsibility of conducting election in the Local Council and state FA within two months which has elapsed.
The members of the Normalization Committee includes: Aliyu Bello, the Chairman, Othman Bala, Vice Chairman, Yakubu Kwanta, Member
Others are: Sule Yepwi – Member, Ibrahim Adamu Shigagara, Member and Abdullahi Ibrahim Osanga as the Secretary of the committee.
