NFF Confirms Heavyweight Fixtures For Nigeria Against England, Germany and Ghana

Nigeria’s beach soccer national team, the Super Sand Eagles, will face stiff competition from African and European powerhouses after being drawn in a tough group for the upcoming International Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

 

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed the draw on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, announcing that the Super Sand Eagles have been pitted against Ghana, England and Germany in the four-nation tournament.

 

According to the NFF, the competition is scheduled to hold from May 8 to May 10, 2026. 

 

It is expected to provide valuable match practice for the Nigerian side as they prepare for bigger international assignments in beach soccer.

 

The Super Sand Eagles will test their skills on the sand against Ghana’s Black Stars beach team, as well as strong European representatives from England and Germany. 

 

The tournament is seen as a crucial preparatory event, allowing Nigeria to measure their progress against top-level opposition from both the continent and beyond.

Beach soccer enthusiasts in Nigeria are already expressing excitement over the high-profile fixtures, which promise intense, fast-paced action characteristic of the sport.
