NFF Confirms NPFL Chairman, Elegbeleye As Second Vice President

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed the Chairman of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye as the Second Vice President of the body, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The League boss automatically filled the vacant position after being entrusted to continue as substantive chairman. This was confirmed in a communique released by the NFF on Monday which reads, "The Board formally welcomed to its fold the Chairmen of the Boards of the Leagues, viz Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), the Nigeria National League (NNL), the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) and the Nigeria Nationwide League One (NLO) who were attending their first meeting, while expressing confidence that Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye (NPFL, and automatically the 2nd Vice President); Ms Nkechi Nneka Obi (NWFL, Member); His Excellency Ali Silas Agara (NLO, Member) and Mr. George Aluo (NNL, Member) will work assiduously with their members to take the Leagues to new heights."

Rising from the first Board Member meeting on Sunday, the football ruling body welcomed the Chairmen of the Leagues to its fold. The Chairman of the NPFL, Gbenga Elegbeleye, chairman of Nigeria Women's Football League, Nkechi Obi, chairman of Nigeria National League, George Aluo, and Nigeria Nationwide League, Silas Agara become Board Members
