Ayanlowo EmmanuelT
he Presidential aspirant for the forthcoming Nigeria Football Federation elections, Barrister Musa Amadu has reiterated his commitment to contesting the polls; as he was in no way stepping down for any candidate and insinuated that it was the handiwork of rumour peddlers, BSNsports.com.ng reports.
Amadu who along with 10 others has been cleared by the Electoral Committee, will hope to succeed Amaju Malvin Pinnick on September 30th in Benin City, Edo State.
"My plan to rebrand Nigerian football remains intact and if I get the opportunity to become President of the federation, I will ensure that State Associations receive monthly grants to support football in their area."Â
"Our desire to develop football from the bottom up has to start in the states, so we have to strengthen all 37 State FAs as much as we can.
"The plan is to talk to Corporate Nigeria and State Governors, on why we should all come together to promote football at the state level."
Amadu also plans for an effective Secretary General if he becomes the President of the Nigeria Football Federation.
"I will put in place a competent Secretary General who would have the ability to change things for the better in the Secretariat."
