An Bayelsa High Court exparte order stopping the Nigeria Football Federation NFF from holding Congress will be withdrawn on Thursday, BSNSports.com.ng can reveal.

This is revealed during an exclusive interview with a Director at the Ministry of Sports. The Director who pleaded for anonymity stated that the Ministry realised that the case must be withdrawn before the NFF Congress can start electoral processes.

"Following the meeting we (Ministry of Sports) had with Concerned Members of State Football Association chairmen and the Players Union on Monday, the parties agreed that the case will be removed from court on Thursday. The Ministry stepped in because they realised that before the elections could hold, there is need to vacate the court exparte order." He told BSN Sports.
