The Electoral Committee who will midwife the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) elections and usher in new board could not hold their inaugural meeting on Tuesday, 23rd July, 2022 as scheduled due to late invitation, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

BSN Sports gathered that number of members who were present at the venue of the meeting could not form quorum, therefore, the meeting was postponed to today (Wednesday).

This also means, sales of forms for the vacant position of the NFF and other important decisions will be delayed for at least a day. Not fewer than 12 Nigerians have indicated interest to replace the outgoing NFF President, Amaju Pinnick.

The NFF election will hold on 30th September, 2022 in Benin City Edo State.
