NFF

A Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board member, Yahaya Kwande may face disqualification from the 30th September, 2022 elections slated for Benin City Edo State, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

He was seen to have acted in a way that can lead to disqualification according to the NFF Electoral Guideline.

Article 5.1j of NFF Electoral Guideline for 2022 Elections clearly stated that "a candidate would be disqualified from contesting the election if he purchased the nomination form for more than one position."

BSN Sports checks showed that Yahaya Kwande was listed among the name of candidates who purchased forms for NFF Board membership. Surprisingly, he was also seen on social media announcing the purchase of another form, this time to contest for NFF President. This simply showed that he has bought two forms as against Article 5.1j stated above.

The Electoral Committee has announced that purchase and submission of forms has closed on Thursday night.
