NFF Okays Elegbeleye, Owumi Stay As Chairman, COO of NPFL

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has approved permanent stay of Gbenga Elegbeleye and Davidson Owumi as Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), BSNSports.com.ng can report.
This, according to www.insideglasshouse was as a reward for the great work and turnaround witnessed by the League since the duo took over in an interim position as league manager late last year. The season-long mandate of the Interim Management Committee (IMC) headed by Hon. Elegbeleye will come to an end after the Super 6 Playoffs on Sunday.
The League has under the leadership of Elegbeleye brought back sponsors, improved officiating and got back on Television with so much transparency and integrity. Towards the end of the 2023 Abridged league, the IMC secured a Television rights deal with SuperSports transmit the league live on their stations for Nigerians across the world watch their domestic league and know more about Nigerian clubs and players.
The winners of the 2023 NPFL will receive One Hundred Million Naira (N100M) while all the 20 participating teams in their year's league received Ten Million naira (N10m) each.
