Reacting to the insinuation on whether he is annointed by the Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare, the highly intelligent football stakeholder said, "I can tell you this is my personal decision which I will persue without also leveraging on my relationship with him be it official or personal.

”You don’t know Sunday Akin Dare (Minister of Sports). He is a man of principle, fair and just and would not want to compromise on his oath of office.

This you can take to the bank my friend and brother before.

Abba Yola who contested for the NFF most important position in 2014 has made known his intention to run for the position again this year.
