NFF Releases 25-man List For U17 WAFU B In Ghana

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has released a 25-man list for the 2022 U17 WAFU B tourney in Cape Coast, Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
The 25-man list consists of three goalkeepers, five defenders, six midfielders, six forwards and five stand-by players.

Goalkeepers: Richard Odoh, Hameed Balogun, Pascal Uzoho
Defenders: Jeremiah Olaleke, Emmanuel Michael, Tochukwu Ogboji, Yahaya Lawal, Miracle Ogwor
Midfielders: Basil Mbata, Ebube Okere, Tochukwu Ogbabido, Richard Uche, Ozor Okeke, Raphael Oyebanjo
Forwards: Umar Abubakar, Kevwe Iyede, Light Eke, Abubakar Abdullahi, Jubril Azeez, Precious Williams
Standby: Utibe Silas, Abdullahi Buhari, Abubakar Shaibu, Tijjani Mohammed, Stephen Emmanuel
The hosts Ghana were pitted against sworn rivals Nigeria and Togo in Group A, which has only three teams.
In Group B, defending champions, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Burkina Faso, and Niger will compete for semi-final tickets.
The tournament will be held in the Central Regional capital from Saturday, June 11 to Friday, June 24, 2022, and will serve as a qualifier for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The finalists will represent West African countries at the U17 African Nations Cup to be hosted by Algeria in 2023.
Twelve teams will gather in Algeria to slug it out for four tickets to represent Africa at the FIFA U17 World Cup.
