NFF Uphold Decision To Dock Enyimba Two Points After Controversial Game

The NFF Appeals Committee have upheld the decision of the O/D that the match between Enyimba and Doma United ended 0-0, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

This was contained in a letter addressed to the clubs by the Secretary, NFF Appeals Committee, Onoja Joshua, Esq in respect of the match between Enyimba FC and Doma United played on 10th

March 2024 at the Enyimba Int’l Stadium, Aba, Abia State.

According to the committee; "Based on the overwhelming evidence, the Referee’s Report and the video evidence, the Committee holds that the Appeal is hereby dismissed.

"The Committee hereby adopts the decisions as contained in paragraphs 1-7 of the decisions of the NFF Disciplinary Committee of 29th April 2024 in respect of the match between Enyimba Int’l FC v. Doma United FC. 

"Consequently, the result of the match at the point of the restart of the game after overruling the goal scored as offside is hereby upheld as Enyimba Int’l FC 0, Doma United FC, 0.

"There can be no appeal against this decision. (Art. 70 of NFF Statutes, 2010)."
