NJF Announces Date, Venue For The National Open Championship

Nigeria Judo Federation ( NJF) under President Musa Oshodi has announced the date and venue for the national judo open championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the president, apart from the talents discovery, the championship will also serve as trials for players representing the country at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games’ qualifiers billed for the Niger Republic in early June.

May 13th to 21st, 2023 was announced as the date and it will take place at Delta State University (DELSU) Sports Complex, Abraka.

The championship will bring all the judokas across Nigeria together to compete in all categories of the sport, including cadet, junior, senior and all age grades.

The participants will also be awarded at the end of the championship.
