NLO Suspends 9 Mariga's Players For Assault On Match Official

The organizers of the Nationwide League One ( NLO) have wielded the big stick on 9 Zaki Mairiga players, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The players were alleged to have assaulted a match official during their clash against Gombe Warriors.

The team also lost 3 points and will also pay a fine of N100,000 for their unruly behavior in the course of the game.

The club will also pay an additional N119, 150.00 being claims filed by the referees for both treatment and missing items.

NLO further stated that the names of the suspended players will be sent to the club.
