NLO Suspends Usman Kabir For False Identity Registration

The Nationwide League One (NLO) has suspended Usman Kabir from participating in the 2025 season following allegations of identity fraud, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Kabir is accused of registering with Mumbiava FC Kano during the 2023 and 2024 seasons under the alias "Abbati Muhammad Gola."

In a statement released by the NLO Secretariat, it was confirmed that Kabir submitted false personal information during his registration with Camp PRO FC.

The league emphasized that the act breaches its regulations, which mandate that players must provide accurate details, including their full names and date of birth, during the registration process.
