NNL: ABS FC Adopts Soun Stadium As Home Ground

Ibraheem Lateef Ayodele

ABS Ilorin FC has reportedly adopted the Soun Stadium, Ogbomoso as the temporary home ground for their campaign in the nation's second-tier domestic league, Nigeria National League.

BSNSports.com.ng sourced that the adoption of Soun Stadium became imperative in the face of the ongoing re-grassing of the main pitch of Kwara State Stadium Complex Ilorin, a development which has also seen Kwara United host its Nigeria Premier Football League home matches at the Lekan Salami Adamasingba Stadium, Ibadan.

Meanwhile, Crown FC of Ogbomoso is returning to the Soun Stadium in Ogbomoso after spending two seasons out of the complex due to the renovation works embarked upon by the Oyo State government.

The Ajilete Warriors had spent the last two seasons at the Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) of Ogbomoso Sports complex.

The NNL has been scheduled to kick off on March 3 across match venues.
