Abakaliki FC have fixed Sunday, January 28, as their resumption date ahead of the second stanza of the 2025/26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Rice Boys went on a one-week break on Monday following the conclusion of the first half of the campaign.

Abakaliki FC rounded off the opening stanza with an entertaining 3-3 draw against Osun United in Osogbo, a result that capped a competitive first round for the Ebonyi-based side.

In the first half of the season, the club recorded three wins, three draws, and one defeat, accumulating 12 points to sit third on the Conference B table.

Abakaliki FC will return to action against First Bank FC when the second half of the NNL season resumes later in January, as they continue their push for promotion.
