NNL: Akwa United Begin Closed-Camp Training In Eket

Akwa United have commenced a closed-camp training program in preparation for the 2025–26 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Promise Keepers held their first training session on Thursday at the Eket Stadium, marking the start of their intensive pre-season buildup.

According to reports, the camp will focus on fitness drills, tactical organization, and team bonding under the guidance of head coach Paul Offor.

Akwa United are also expected to play a series of friendly matches to sharpen their form ahead of the new campaign, as they target an immediate return to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) following last season’s relegation.

The 2025–26 NNL season is set to kick off on Saturday, November 8.
