The Southern Conference Group B1 finally ends its first round of the league this Sunday with Go-Round FC maintaining the top spot, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Having more teams than others, Group B1 had to stay a week late than others before ending their first stanza.

Go-Round FC continued their push for a topflight football after beating Lagos based Ottasolo FC 2-1 on Sunday. The win ensured they finished top of Group B1 going into the break.

Warri Wolves and Rovers FC maintain a close contact with Go-Round FC after both sides recorded 1-0 win, the former doing it away at Apex Krane and the latter beating fellow ticket chaser Sporting Lagos FC.

Crown FC, Bayelsa United ensured they're still in the mix for the ticket as they also recorded wins putting them within touching distance of the first placed team, Go-Round FC.

With the transfer window now officially opened, teams are expected to strengthen their weak links as the second round kickoff beckons.

No outright favorite for the promotion at the moment and as it stands we've got an interesting second round fixtures steering at us.
