NNL: Heartland Coach Confident Of Promotion Push

Heartland technical adviser Emmanuel Amuneke says the Naze Millionaires are fully prepared to battle for promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) last season, Heartland will feature in the Southern Conference Group A alongside Crown FC, Edel FC, Sunshine Stars, E-World FC, Inter FC Lagos, Smart City FC, Godswill Akpabio United FC, Abia Comets, and Beyond Limits.

Only the team that finishes top of the group will gain automatic promotion to the elite division.

Amuneke expressed confidence in his squad’s ability to outshine their rivals.

“We’ve been waiting for the draw, and since June, when we started rebuilding the team, we’ve prepared ourselves to compete. It’s a welcome development, and we respect all the teams in our group because they’ve earned their place,” he told the club’s media.
