NNL: Jigawa Golden Stars Sack 25 Players

In preparations for the 2022/2023 Nigeria National League season, the management of Jigawa Golden Stars has swung into action to have a better season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Dutse-based club had a difficult outing last season and the management deemed it fit to take the bull by the horn going into the new season.

According to an update from the team's camp, the board of the club has decided to sack 25 players and retained four players.

The list of players retained are Ibrahim Amor, Peter Dogara, Joshua and Danburan.

The motive of the management behind the reorganisation of the team is to have a better season and hopefully secure a promotion ticket to the elite division.
