Despite facing a relegation battle, Kada Warriors head coach Danlami Kwasai Umar has expressed unwavering confidence in his team's ability to avoid the drop in the Nigeria National League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Currently sitting fifth in Group D with 12 points—just two points clear of the relegation zone—the Kaduna-based side remains in a tense position as the season progresses.
Coach Umar believes his players have what it takes to stay afloat.
“We just need to focus and take it one game at a time,” he told the club’s media. “After the win against Sporting Supreme, our attention shifts to Yobe Desert Stars—we’ll go again from there.”
While limited in making changes to his starting lineup, Umar praised the commitment and quality of his squad.
“I don’t really have time to rotate the eleven, but the boys have shown their quality. Most of them were selected on merit,” he said. “They truly want to play, and that’s evident in their performance.”
Kada Warriors will face Yobe Desert Stars in their next crucial league fixture.
