Technical Adviser of Kogi United football Club Coach Folabi Ojekunle will remain at the Nigeria National League Club after a round table resolution with Management of the club on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng gathered.

Recall that the experience gaffer told Sports Journalists at the Confluence Stadium Lokoja on Saturday 26th March 2022 after his side put up a superlative performance to beat Adamawa United 2-0 that he will be leaving the club barely one year after he took over the mantle of leadership due to some irreconcilable difference.

In a Swift move, Management of the Club under Honourable Abdulmalik Isah Dolly with the help and support of some football stakeholders in the state quickly wade into the issue to avoid anything negative that will tarnish the image of the club especially at a time like this when the boys are in superb form.

After some few hours of discussions behind close doors, both parties came out smiling. Honourable Isah told Kogi United Media that:

” conflicts and differences are inevitable in every clime but what matters most is for the parties involved in the rift to quickly put aside their differences for the sake of peace ,progress and development ”

” That is what we have done with this issue.I won’t bore you with too much detail but what I can assure you is that our Technical Adviser Coach Folabi Ojekunle is going nowhere. He is doing a great job here. Imagine playing 7 Matches without a loss. It’s incredible ”

” All of the issues he raised are also of concern to us and as such we will look at probable ways to addressing them so that Our darling Club will continue to witness development and transformation ”

Coach Folabi Ojekunle took over at Kogi United last year and has won 2 matches and drawn 5 making his team the only club in Group A2 of the Northern Conference of Nigeria National League yet to loose a match.
