Wikki Tourists have commenced a 10-day break following their qualification for the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super Eight playoff tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The break, scheduled from Sunday, June 1 to Wednesday, June 10, 2025, is intended to give players time to reunite with their families, refresh, and recharge ahead of the crucial playoff stage.

The club’s management emphasized that the short recess is vital for maintaining the team's momentum and ensuring they are in top form for the upcoming challenge.

“Management is optimistic that the same energy and focus will drive the team to success in the Super 8 and, ultimately, secure a return to the NPFL next season,” the club posted on its official Facebook page.

Wikki Tourists will resume training at 4:00 PM on June 11 at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium in Bauchi.

The Bauchi-based club qualified for the Super Eight as one of the top two teams from NNL Group C, alongside Barau FC.
