By Precious Oham

Inter Lagos FC striker, Tony Obia has said that the performance of the newly formed club is growing after each match day, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Obia, who is a product of Port Harcourt enterprising side, SKE FC noted that the team will keep pushing hard till the end of the 2023/2024 Nigeria National League season.

"My performance has been a nice one. I'm happy playing alongside great players of International Lagos FC because the team is actually new.

"We didn't start the league with the results we wanted. But from time to time, we will keep pushing hard till the very moment and the results has started changing for the better. The performance of the team is growing after every work day."

The lanky striker was on the scoresheet and captained his team as they defeated their Lagos rivals, Tradesafe Sport FC 4-2 away from home to move up to the 7th position on the log with 10 points in Conference B.

Obia has scored three goals and registered four assists to help his team record three victories in their last three games as they face Warri Wolves this weekend in Lagos.
