NNL 24: Madiba FC Clarifies Distinction From Mexican Namesake

Nigeria National League, NNL, side, Madiba FC has issued a disclaimer over some online sports companies who are using a different club logo on their websites, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

In a statement by the club's media unit clarifies that the NNL side based in Lagos are distinct from Leon FC of Mexico. 

The statement reads: "The management of Madiba FC in Lagos State, Nigeria, participating in the Nigeria National League 2023/2024 season, has observed that certain online sports companies are using a different club logo on their websites, not belonging to Madiba FC.

"Madiba FC appreciates the efforts of these online sports companies and takes this opportunity to bring to their attention the need to use our official club logo, which is attached to this release, in all their subsequent posts.

"It has come to our notice that the logo previously used for Madiba FC belongs to Madiba FC, Leon of Mexico, and is distinct from ours, Madiba FC in Lagos, Nigeria.

"We trust that the necessary corrections will be made promptly following this release."
