NNL 24: Mohammed Azeez Says Wikki Tourists Are Ready For The Season

Wikki Tourists head coach, Mohammed Azeez, has revealed that recent warm-up matches have shown his team’s level of readiness for the 2023/24 Nigeria National League (NNL) season, The BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Kwara United gaffer disclosed this after Wikki Tourists 3-0 victory over Jigawa Golden Stars, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi, says the team will improve better before the start of new season.

“The major reason for the friendly games was not only winning but also for us to see how good and fit the players are which will eventually allow us to make informed choices, " Azeez said.

“Though, I’m happy with the results, we’re not there yet, until we have a formidable team for the execution of our task."

Azeez further explained that the team will engage in more friendly games to work on the lapses noticed ahead of the Nigeria National League season.
