NNL 25: 'I Joined Madiba FC On Rescue Mission' - Puma Paul

Newly signed Madiba FC centre-back, Puma Paul has declared his readiness to help his new side escape the drop in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League, NNL, season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Heartland FC player joined the Lagos-based side during the mid-season transfer window ahead of the thrilling return of the second stanza.

According to Paul, he was signed to assist the team to escape relegation having picked only 10 points from 10 games while expressing optimism of picking up the maximum points against Kun Khalifat FC.

 "Yes, I am in Madiba on a rescue mission to help my new team achieve their goals. I know what is at stake because this football and anything can happen.

"The team are not done yet. I believe we can turn things around in the second stanza, starting with the match against Kun Khalifat. I am very optimistic that my team will come out victorious."

Madiba FC are visiting the Dan Anyiam Stadium Owerri for the return leg fixture on Tuesday, April 8 having lost at home to the Southern Conference Group B leaders.
