Abia Comets Football Club of Umuahia has been awarded three points and three goals, after walking over 1472 FC, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Lagos-based club failed to honour the game, which is a southern Conference A Matchday 2 encounter at the Umuahia Township Stadium.

According to reports, the Lagos-based team did not depart from their base in Lagos 24 hours before the scheduled game.

With the latest scoreline, the Comets have moved to the top of the Southern Conference A standings with 6 points from two games.
