NNL 25: Aminu Musa Targets NPFL Promotion With Basira FC

Technical Adviser of Basira FC, Aminu Musa has said the target of the team is to pick a promotion ticket to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Lafia-based side defeated Yobe Desert Stars FC 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League, NNL.

A 28th minute Chigozie Ani's header inside the area was all the Lafia based side needed to seal the three points over their counterparts from Yobe State.

Musa thanked Almighty God for granting victory to the team and also commended the boys for the wonderful job they have done in securing a crucial win against Yobe Desert despite the first ever participation of the team in the national league.

"I want to use this opportunity to appreciate the officials of my team for allowing and encouraging me to do my work without any challenge.

"As far as NNL is concerned, My target is to get the ticket for the NPFL at end of the season though they're young players but we are taking each game as they come.

 "Our target is to get the ticket. So, I thank the people of Nasarawa State for their support to the team and for accepting and believing in my coaching ability."

Basira FC will now travel to FCT Abuja for the match day 2 against Sporting Supreme FC on Friday, December 13th 2024 in Bwari Township Stadium by 3pm.
