The Nigeria National League (NNL) has directed that all final day fixtures in Conferences C and D of the 2024/2025 season will kick off at the same time—3:00 PM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The directive, issued through an official letter by NNL Chief Operating Officer Mr. Danlami Alanana, is designed to prevent manipulation of match outcomes and ensure fairness as the regular season concludes.

Alanana emphasized the importance of the measure, stating, “Because we are in the last stage, we want equal opportunity for clubs to progress in transparency and trust in the League.”

The simultaneous kick-off across different approved venues ensures that no team has the advantage of playing with foreknowledge of other results—a standard practice in competitive leagues globally.

The final fixtures are as follows: Conference C Matches (3:00 PM): 1. Jigawa Golden Stars vs Sokoto United

2. Wikki Tourists vs Zamfara United

3. Mighty Jets vs Barau FC Conference D Matches (3:00 PM):

4. Sporting Supreme Abuja vs Kebbi United

5. Yobe Desert Stars vs Basira FC (Lafia, Nasarawa)

6. Kada Warriors vs Adamawa United In addition to the synchronized schedule, the NNL has instructed the respective State Football Associations to ensure adequate security and logistical support at all match venues.

The League body has stressed that safety and operational standards must be met to facilitate a smooth conclusion to the season.

With promotion and league standings on the line, fans across the country can expect a dramatic and competitive finish in both conferences.
