NNL 25: Sokoto United Gaffer Hails Players' Determination Over Victory Against Zamfara United

Technical Adviser of Sokoto United, Peter Ajeni has hailed his players determination and resilience in the 3-1 win over Zamfara United in the Nigeria National League, NNL, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

In an electrifying match day 4 encounter of the NNL, Sokoto United emerged victorious with a 3-1 win over Zamfara United FC at the Giginya Memorial Stadium in Sokoto. 

Ajeni said: "I'm extremely proud of the team's performance today. We showed great character and determination to come back and win the match." 

However, he emphasized the need for the attacking line to improve their chances conversion rate. 

"We missed a lot of chances in both halves, and that's not good for our attacking line. We need to work on goal scoring and develop more effective techniques for converting chances."

The victory has propelled Sokoto United to second position in the Conference Group C of the Nigerian National League. 

The team will face Barau FC in their next match, scheduled for Sunday, January 11th, 2025, at the Danbatta Stadium in Kano State.
