High-flying Kun Khalifat FC of Owerri recorded yet another away win in the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League, NNL, with a 3-1 victory against Gateway United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The game which was decided at the Gateway Int'l Stadium Ilaro Ogun State, began on a blistering note when Babatunde Taofeek opened the scoring for the hosts from the spot.

Just before the interval, Ahiaeke Chijioke restored parity for the visitors.

At the restart, Chijioke bagged his brace to put Kun Khalifat on the ascendancy.

The electrifying Pride of Owerri extended their lead in the 71st-minute courtesy of Sunday Chinedu as they ran out victorious to record 19 points from 8 games.

In Awka, Solution FC dismantled Madiba FC 4-1 while Abia Comets shared the spoils 2-2 with visiting Dakkada FC.
