NNL Round-Up: Sporting Lagos, Rovers FC Pick Away Wins As Kun Khalifat Returns To Winning Ways

Sporting Lagos secured another away win over their Lagos rivals, Madiba FC in match day seven of the 2024/2025 Nigeria National League, NNL, season, BSNSports.com reports. 

They defeated Madiba FC 2-0 in their quest to return to Nigeria top-flight after losing their last game to Kun Khalifat FC in Owerri. 

Elsewhere, Rovers FC got the better of ABS Ilorin FC 3-2 away from home in a five-goal thriller. 

At the iconic Dan Anyiam Stadium, Kun Khalifat FC returned to winning ways with a slim one-nil victory over First Bank FC. 

High-flying Abia Comets earned a point away to Crown FC in a goalless affair while Godswill Akpabio FC defeated Osun United 1-0. 

Doma United defeated Sporting Supreme 2-1 away from home while the game between Basira FC and Kada Warriors ended one apiece. 

Other results include; Abakaliki FC 0-0 Solution FC, Yobe Desert Stars 3-1 Kebbi United and Dakkada FC 3-1 Igbajo United.
