NNL Super 4: Bendel Insurance, El-Kanemi Warriors Share Spoils

Action continued in the Nigeria National League Super 4 playoff presently going on at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenogoa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The game on Wednesday proved to be a tough encounter as El-Kanemi Warriors and Bendel Insurance had to share the spoil in the end.

The end-to-end game demonstrated the strength and readiness of both teams to compete adequately in the elite division next season.

The first half of the game lived up to the expectations as it ended goalless.

Bendel Insurance improved in their performance in the second half and took over the game with their incessant attack into the dangerous areas of El-Kanemi Warriors.

But it was the Maiduguri-based club that netted the opening goal in the 80th minute before Ebuka Akobundu scored an equalizer in the 88th minute to end the game 1-1.

Both teams go into the final games on Saturday with 4 points each.

El-Kanemi will face host Bayelsa United while Bendel Insurance will tackle Doma United on Saturday.
