NNL Gets Kick-Off Date With 8 Groups

The 2023 season of the Nigeria National League has been scheduled to kick off in March 2023 across the country, BSNSports.com.ng report.

The 2022 season ended a few months ago and 4 clubs which include Bayelsa United, Doma United, Bendel Insurance and El-Kanemi Warri qualified to play in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Annual General Meeting of the NNL was held on Friday and some vital decision was taken ahead of the new season.

According to the updates from the meeting, March 3rd, 2023 was agreed upon as the kick-off date for the new season and there will 8 groups of Southern and Northern Conference.

The football body also makes it mandatory that all the games either home or away must be streamed live online and adequate security must also be provided at each match venue.
