Rivers United came from a goal down to secure a 2-3 in Uyo and strengthen their position on top of the league table.
During the post-match reactions, Eguma commended his players for playing to instructions throughout the game.
" It was a well-contested game, I commend my players for their good efforts and for the way they played to the instructions.
"Not that we underrated our opponent but we knew where we are heading, so we put in our best to get 3 points from this match.
We also knew that Dakkada will come out strong because playing against a team fighting relegation is an easy task.
When we scored them they showed character, fought back twice and scored but my players also lived up to the billings, my tactical plans were marshalled out accordingly," he said.
The win took the Pride of Rivers to 64 points in 30 games.
