Technical Adviser of Katsina United, Usman Abdallah has praised his players for their composition and performance in the game against Plateau United, BSNsports.com.ng report.

Katsina United defeated the Jos-based team 2-0 to raise their hope of maintaining their top tier League status.

The coach made the statement during a post-match conference where he also acknowledged the pressure the players face during the game.

" Though we are stressed, we are very happy because it was a high-tension match and our hope lies in the next two matches.

"We are happy we got the three points, matches like this is very difficult to play because when you are playing against a team that has nothing to lose and all your hope depends on that match it gives a lot of pressure on players most especially home to win.

"We hope to get more goals to cancel the goals against us but we thank God we got these two goals and the most important is the three points we got.

"I'm very pleased with the composure of the players in the second half to get the two goals.

"We are all human and when we are all bound with responsibilities there is a certain level player can take, all we did was counsel the players and gives them hope and readjust all the tactical approaches and they came back and you can see.

"I understand the pressures and if you can absorb pressures the results will be very difficult.

"I'm happy with the performance and composure of the players," he said.

With one game to go, Katsina United is placed 15th on the table with 48 points in 37 games.
