Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara United has appointed two interim coaches to take charge of the team for the rest of this season, BSNsports.com.ng can report

The club management relieved the duo Messrs Ashifat Sulaiman and Taofeek Babatunde of their duties citing negligence of duty as the reason.

According to the club media officer Kumbi Titiloye, the duo of the U15 coaches Lookman Ijaya and Mukaila Olaniyi have been elevated to take charge of the team pending the appointment of the substantive coaches.

" We have elevated the Head Coach of our U-15 team, Coach Ijaiya Lookman, and his Assistant, Coach Mukaila Olaniyi, pending when substantive appointments would be made at the end of the season,” Titiloye added.

Kwara United are currently sixth on the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League table with 40 points, and will host Shooting Stars Sports Club in Matchday 28 on Sunday in Ilorin.
