NPFL: Abia Warriors Pleased To Welcome Back Injured Defender

Abia Warriors are thrilled to have their injured defender, Prince Okorie, back in the squad ahead of their important match against Sunshine Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 22-year-old versatile defender has been sidelined since late 2024 due to injury. After completing his rehabilitation, he returned to training on Friday and is now ready to feature in Sunday’s game.

"After weeks of recovery and hard work, Prince Okorie is back on the pitch," the club confirmed.

"The wait is over, and he is eager to give his all for the team again."

Abia Warriors will host Sunshine Stars on Sunday at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Day 23 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
