NPFL: Abia Warriors Suspend Imama Amapakabo, Bethel Oji Over Alleged Insubordination

Nigeria Premier Football League side Abia Warriors have suspended head coach Imama Amapakabo and club official Bethel Oji from all club activities with immediate effect over alleged acts of insubordination, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The club announced that the decision was taken following internal issues involving the duo, although further details surrounding the incident were not disclosed.

Following the suspension, former Super Eagles goalkeeper Ike Shorunmu and his assistants have been directed to immediately take charge of the team’s operations pending further directives from the management.

The development comes at a crucial stage of the season as Abia Warriors continue their campaign in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
