NPFL: Abubakar Reappointed As Gombe United General Manager

Abubakar Abubakar has been reappointed as Gombe United General Manager by the State Government led by Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, to lead the affairs of the NPFL club side, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Abubakar’s appointment was confirmed in a letter signed by the Governor.

The young administrator has been charged with the responsibility of repositioning the Savannah Scorpions.

Gombe United finished in mid-table last season.

Abubakar has previously worked with Wikki Tourists, El Kanemi Warriors, Enyimba, Sunshine,and Shooting stars.

The modest side are currently preparing for the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season with the commencement date yet to be confirmed.
