NPFL: Ahmed Musa Back With A Bang For Pillars, As Sunshine Stars Sink El-Kanemi Warriors In Ikenne Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa returned to the Kano Pillars squad with a bang on Saturday afternoon as his goal secured maximum points for the team, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The former Leicester City winger missed the club's last two games due to an undisclosed injury, but he made his return count at the Sani Abacha Stadium. Playing at home, Raheem Alasan put Pillars ahead in the 30th minute but Aliyu Mohammed restored parity in the 60th minute. Musa pumped up the volume in the 90th minute and scored the winning goal and his 6th goal of the season. Meanwhile, Sunshine Stars secured their first win under newly appointed coach Abubakar Bala with a 1-0 win over El-Kanemi Warriors. Promise Awosanmi netted the only goal of the game in the 85th minute, ensuring a full point for the host.
